I hope some of you can attend. We will be on vacation.<br /><br />Dear Neighbors,<br /><br />As some of you know, Tom and I have our own band called Soul Kitch'n. We<br />will be playing at Gatsby's, right here in Gahanna, tomorrow night from 9pm<br />- 1am. Gatsby's is located just north of Lincoln High School (and the old<br />Kroger) at 151 N. Hamilton Rd. We would love to see you all there.<br /><br />Coincidentally, we will be accepting donations to the Down Syndrome<br />Association of Central Ohio beginning Friday night and hope that you can<br />support us in our effort. I will personally be walking at the fourth annual<br />Buddy Walk at Franklin Park on Sunday, September 25th in support of my good<br />friend Ellie, a beautiful (and now healthy) 3 year old girl with Down<br />Syndrome. We will be accepting donations in support of "Team Ellie" at each<br />of our public appearances from now until the end of September but you can<br />also donate on line by logging on to www.columbusbuddywalk.org. You can<br />make your donation in support of our team and/or register to join the walk.<br /><br />The one-mile Buddy Walk around Franklin park begins at 11:00 a.m. The event<br />was established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) to<br />promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. Over the last<br />ten years, the Buddy Walk has flourished into the premier advocacy event for<br />Down syndrome and has become a major platform for inclusion in communities<br />across the country. We had a wonderful view from our deck of the fireworks. Our street was full of cars and people. Hopefully, there were no problems for the Rivers Edge residents.<br /><br />This time I want to feature Paul and Robin Devine who live at 205 REW. They renovated a 90 year old home for 5 years. <br /><br />Paul is self employed in a family business called Devine Brockerage. They sell candy and gourmet food items.
